Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Reading, MA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide critical psychological services to students.
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Hold a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Possess an active Massachusetts School Psychologist License issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
- Have previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
- Meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Completion of a state-approved educator preparation program in school psychology.
- Passing all required Massachusetts educator assessments.
- Compliance with district and state background check regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Assist in developing behavioral management programs and provide staff training.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Massachusetts Department of Education regulations.
