Blazer Jobs Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Claremont, New Hampshire. This is a full-time contract position providing vital support to students across our K-12 schools.
Contract Dates: ASAP April 11, 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
Location: Claremont, NH
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Caseload: K-12 students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Interpret assessment results and develop detailed reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students, including individual and group counseling.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs and behavioral interventions.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid New Hampshire School Psychologist certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with FBAs and BIPs.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention.
