Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services for high school students in Ecorse, Michigan. This full-time, contract position offers flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students with speech and language needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and therapy sessions for high school students.
- Develop and implement personalized speech therapy plans based on IEP goals.
- Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other educational staff.
- Use teletherapy platforms to deliver high-quality speech therapy services.
- Complete progress notes and participate in virtual IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- License & Certification: Must hold a valid Michigan SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP. Must also meet Michigan Department of Education telepractice requirements.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of school-based experience required, with prior teletherapy experience preferred.
- Must have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
