Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with a school district in the Bremerton, WA area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in achieving their communication and language development goals.

Requirements

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Possess an active Washington State SLP license
Obtain a Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate for school-based practice
Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred but not required)
Have previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting
Pass all required background checks and fingerprint clearance

Responsibilities

Key duties for this role include:

Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Providing individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support student progress
Monitoring and documenting student progress and therapy outcomes
Educating school staff on effective communication strategies and interventions
