Blazer Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Virtual School Psychologist to join our team and provide essential support to students in Gardner, Kansas. This is a part-time opportunity focused on testing, evaluations, and IEP meetings, offering the flexibility of remote work.
Location: Virtual (serving students in Gardner, KS)
Dates: ASAP May 27, 2025
Hours: 2.5 days per week, 20 hours total.
Caseload:
- Testing, evaluations, and IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with the districts Special Education (SPED) team on scheduling and conducting assessments and IEP meetings.
Requirements:
- Valid Kansas School Psychologist License: Must hold an active Kansas license.
- Virtual School Experience: Proven experience working as a virtual school psychologist is essential.
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations virtually.
- Ability to effectively facilitate virtual IEP meetings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual work.
- Important Note: We had an unsuccessful virtual placement last year. We are looking for a solid, dependable candidate to ensure the success of our virtual program moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Facilitate virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective IEPs.
- Collaborate with the districts SPED team to schedule and conduct evaluations and IEP meetings.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
