This is a full-time, remote position covering a maternal leave, with a caseload of 40 students in grades 5th 7th. The school district utilizes a caseload model, and you will be responsible for providing essential services to students, including assessments, therapy, and ongoing support.
What Youll Do:
- Provide remote speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 40 middle school students.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess communication disorders and create individualized therapy plans.
- Develop and implement therapy goals tailored to each students needs, working with both individual students and small groups.
- Track and document progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on student outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure an integrated approach to supporting student development.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech therapy services based on assessments and observations.
- Support students social-emotional and academic growth through effective communication strategies.
What Youll Bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Minnesota required.
