Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist License
- Experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
- Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based practice
State Requirements:
- Completion of a graduate program in School Psychology
- Passing scores on the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) if required
- Adherence to Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) guidelines
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
