As a School Psychologist, you will work with students to assess mental health, emotional, and behavioral issues and provide strategies for academic success. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of student development, and a passion for helping students thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments of students.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to students in need.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and behavior.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Work closely with parents and other professionals to develop strategies for success.
- Maintain accurate records of student evaluations and progress.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Texas State Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
