Speech-Language Pathologist Full-Time Orange, NJ
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with a school district in the Orange, NJ area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certification: Must hold an active New Jersey Speech-Language Specialist Certification and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience: Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is required
- Must meet all New Jersey state and local requirements to work in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
