Blazer Jobs is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services in Pompano Beach, FL. If you are passionate about helping students improve their communication skills, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language difficulties.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to support student success.
- Educate school staff on strategies to enhance communication in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification/Licensure:
- Valid Florida SLP License issued by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Experience: Minimum
one year of school-based or pediatric experience required.
