Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Caseload/Details:
- Elementary students
- Provides intensive individualized speech and language programs for students with multiple handicapping conditions
- Develops and implements therapy plans
- Reports therapy progress to instructional staff and parents
Job Details:
- Plan, organize, and perform intensive individualized speech and language programs for students experiencing multiple handicapping conditions.
- Maintain clinical file recordings, including speech and language evaluation information, observations, and recommendations for remediation.
- Evaluate students with speech and language difficulties, providing detailed reports and updates on therapy progress to instructional staff and parents.
- Collaborate with school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with speech and language challenges.
Requirements:
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) license.
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both with students and parents, as well as within a team setting.
- Ability to create and implement effective, individualized therapy programs.
