Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Greenville, SC
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Greenville, SC area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide high-quality therapy services to students.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Possess an active South Carolina SLP license issued by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Obtain a South Carolina Department of Education Certification for school-based SLPs
- Hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (preferred but not required)
- Have prior experience working as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Meet all local and state requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and district-specific clearances
Responsibilities
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, key duties may include:
- Conducting evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support students' academic and communication goals
- Providing direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success
- Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with South Carolina state regulations
- Participating in IEP meetings and advocating for students' speech and language needs
