Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Greenville, SC

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Greenville, SC area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide high-quality therapy services to students.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Possess an active South Carolina SLP license issued by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Obtain a South Carolina Department of Education Certification for school-based SLPs
Hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (preferred but not required)
Have prior experience working as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
Meet all local and state requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and district-specific clearances

Responsibilities

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, key duties may include:

Conducting evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support students' academic and communication goals
Providing direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success
Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with South Carolina state regulations
Participating in IEP meetings and advocating for students' speech and language needs
