Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Atchison, KS area. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support students in developing their communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Kansas SLPA license
- Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant preferred
- Understanding of speech and language development techniques and intervention strategies
- Must meet all local and state education and certification requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students
- Implement therapy activities and intervention plans under SLP supervision
- Work one-on-one and in group settings to support speech, language, and communication development
- Document student progress and provide reports to the SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, district, and federal special education guidelines
