Job Overview:
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Hudson, NH. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The SLPA will support the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapeutic services to students with speech and language impairments in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual or small group settings.

Conduct speech and language screenings, and assist with evaluations as directed by the supervising SLP.

Maintain records and documentation for student progress and therapy sessions.

Support students with various speech and language needs, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.

Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student progress in the classroom and in therapy.

Assist with creating and modifying speech therapy materials to support individualized learning goals.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and progress monitoring.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant ethical standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field.

NH SLPA Certification or equivalent licensure required.

Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.

Knowledge of speech and language development and therapy techniques is beneficial.

Ability to work independently while following guidelines set by the supervising SLP.
