Spirit Winds Physical Therapy is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in San Luis Obispo, CA. Our clinic is a PT-owned private practice that proudly serves the local community.
A brand-new grad can expect to receive a yearly salary in the ballpark of $84,000. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.
Caseload / Patient Population:
Physical Therapists at Spirit Winds Physical Therapy see a minimum of 10 patients per day if working five days a week. Medicare patients are seen for one hour of 1 on 1 direct patient care. Other patients are scheduled for 30-minute sessions. Evals are one hour.
The patient population is general orthopedics, all ages with some neuro and oncology. Patients are often seen in private treatment rooms. Spirit Winds Physical Therapy puts a high value on one-on-one direct patient care that is built on trust and relationships. Patients who feel safe and protected are better able to transform from the inside out.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, candidates with part-time availability will be considered. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. No weekends. PTs are typically 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. Either schedule includes one hour for lunch. There is an option for a schedule of 4 days a week at 10 hours per day. Enjoy excellent work / life balance!
Job Requirements:
Eligible for California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Availability for full-time hours is preferred; part-time will be considered.
Prior experience is not required. New Grad PTs are welcome.
