We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) for a virtual (VOCO) position, starting ASAP and running through May 30, 2025. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy PT with experience in online education who is passionate about providing specialized support to students with unique physical therapy needs.
Position Details:
- Location: El Paso, TX (VOCO - Virtual Only)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 30, 2025
- Hours: Part-time, 8 hours per week
- Caseload: Currently 5 students
Caseload Breakdown:
- Student 1: High School - 20 minutes, 3x/9 weeks
- Student 2: Elementary - 35 minutes, 1x/6 weeks
- Student 3: Elementary - 30 minutes, 8x/9 weeks
- Student 4: High School - 30 minutes per semester
- Student 5: Middle School - 30 minutes per week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations, assessments, and IEPs for students across various grade levels.
- Provide tailored virtual therapy sessions to meet each student's individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as necessary to achieve goals.
- Utilize technology to deliver high-quality therapy services in a virtual setting.
- Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and educational standards.
Requirements:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license/certification in Texas.
- Strong technological proficiency, with experience in virtual/online schooling environments.
- Prior experience providing virtual physical therapy services is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to the needs of a varied caseload.
