Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and be committed to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with parents and staff, and providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students in need of services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services, including individual, small group, and classroom-based interventions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Passion for helping students achieve their speech and language goals
