We are searching for a teletherapy Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our partner school in the state of North Carolina. As a school-based OT, you will play a part inassessing, planning, and implementing therapy interventions and will contribute to enhancing students' functional abilities, fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall quality of life.
Position Details:
- September - November (8 week assignment)
- Full-time: 30-35 hours per week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, multiple school sites
- Specific caseloaddetails will be discussed in the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $45 per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
- Must have an active North CarolinaOT License
- Must have an active State OT License in state of residency, if applicable
- Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must be licensed through the North Carolina Board
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans.
