Full-Time School Psychologist Opportunity in New Jersey
Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position in New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with K-12 students, providing critical support and guidance to help them succeed academically and emotionally.
Position Details:
- Location: New Jersey
- Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Tentative Work Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:05 PM or 3:30 PM
- Caseload: K-12 students, covering a diverse range of needs across multiple grade levels
- Number of Openings: 1
- Onsite Position: This role requires in-person work
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and evaluations to assess student needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Provide case management for students requiring specialized support, ensuring that all interventions are properly implemented and monitored.
- Utilize your expertise in autism to support students on the spectrum, working closely with educators and parents to develop effective strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive support plans.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active School Psychologist license in New Jersey.
- Strong experience in a school-based setting, with a proven track record of managing caseloads and conducting evaluations.
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is required.
- Case management experience is required, with the ability to effectively coordinate services and support for students.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a team of educators, parents, and students.
