Schedule:
- 3 days per week at Elementary School
- 1 day per week at Middle School
- 1 day per week at High School
Caseload/Details:
- Elementary School: 30-45 students, some consultative or once per month services
- Middle School: 8-10 students receiving regular services, rest consultative
- High School: 8-10 students receiving regular services, rest consultative
Special Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Chalmette, LA. This part-time position requires flexibility and involves traveling between three campuses to provide speech therapy services to students from elementary through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
