Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position for the upcoming school year. This role involves working with students across various grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, to support their speech and language development.
Caseload/Job Details:
- Student Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for speech and language services, identifying areas of need and developing appropriate intervention plans.
- IEP Reevaluations: Perform reevaluations for students who currently have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure their goals and services are up-to-date and effective.
- IEP Participation: Actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized plans that address each student's unique needs.
- Service Delivery: Provide direct therapy and support to students, focusing on improving communication skills, language development, and social interaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEP updates, ensuring compliance with all legal and educational standards.
Requirements:
- Valid SLP licensure
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
