Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Montgomery, IL. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to elementary students within an onsite school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to address speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student needs and goals.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and education.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- New graduates with a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with elementary students preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
