Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Morris, IL. Key Responsibilities:
- Conductassessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, articulation, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct virtual therapy sessions using engaging and evidence-based practices to promote student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor and report on student progress, adjust therapy plans as necessary, and support students' overall educational goals.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Valid Illinois license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current state teaching certification or eligibility.
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
