Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Morris, IL Area
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team in serving school districts in the Morris, IL area. Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Provide therapy to students with speech, language, or communication disorders.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-based meetings.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to apply:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Must be issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
- Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is preferred.
