Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position with a school district in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop essential communication skills and thrive in their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Caseload includes K-5,mild-severe, and floating between classrooms
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address students' speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert advice on students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Must have experience with AAC Devices.
- Current Pennsylvania state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
