The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for our team in Gurnee, IL! Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!
Job Details:
- Full-time position: 35 hours a week
- Caseload: 35-45 students
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and tools to enhance learning and engagement for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to promote student success and integration into broader educational settings.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, empathy, and self-confidence among students.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist & PEL
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual Proficiency in Spanish Required
