Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and academic success of students across K-12 grades. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, participating in IEP and case management meetings, and working collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to address psychological and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on evaluation results.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and services.
- Manage and oversee case management for students requiring psychological support.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success.
- Provide counseling and support services to students as needed.
- Analyze data and track student progress to inform ongoing interventions and support.
- Offer professional development and support to school staff on psychological and behavioral issues.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license in the state of California.
- Experience in conducting psychological evaluations and providing case management.
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
