Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Full-Time
Location: Round Rock, Texas
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our Special Education team! This full-time position involves working with K-12 students, providing essential support under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade; specific details will be discussed during the interview
- SLP Supervision Provided
- Pay Range: $20 - $40 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech Language Pathologist in implementing therapy strategies for students with communication difficulties.
- Track and document students' progress during therapy sessions, including specific goals, methods used, and achievements.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce speech and language objectives within the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active SLPA Texas License.
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
