Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a local school district for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to support students in overcoming communication challenges and enhancing their academic and social success.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state license or certification as an SLP.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to create and revise goals for students.
