Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are currently seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a part-time position in a school district in Darlington, SC. This role involves completing evaluations and assessments for students and will focus on grades 3-5, with high school support starting in November.
Position Overview: As a School Psychologist, you will play a critical role in assessing students' psychological and educational needs. Your expertise will help guide interventions and support for students, fostering their academic and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades 3-5 and high school.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support to students as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and special education.
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed School Psychologist in South Carolina.
- Experience working with elementary and high school students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
