We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our network in a fully remote capacity, serving a K-12 district in Jacksonville, NC.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the mental health and well-being of our students. You will assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure that all students can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies for student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Provide training and resources for staff and families on mental health topics.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in North Carolina.
- Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Openness to serving as both team chair and evaluator.
