Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with a school district in the Lincoln, NE area. We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide top-quality therapy services to students and help them overcome communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine the need for speech and language services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals.
- Stay updated with best practices and techniques in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Nebraska SLP license or ability to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
