Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position with a school district in the Dallas, TXarea. This role is perfect for compassionate and dedicated professionals who are committed to making a positive impact on students communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students to assess communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students are meeting their goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school district requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students.
- Provide support and education to staff and families regarding speech-language interventions.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
