Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time role within school districts in the Spring Hill, KS area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, including ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) assessments and recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide independent evaluations for students to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and other communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and monitor progress towards student goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
- Provide both one-on-one and small group therapy services to students.
Requirements:
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathology license in Kansas.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting, including conducting ARD assessments and making recommendations for IEPs.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education services.
