Licensed Clinical School Social Worker - Santa Maria, CA ($50-55 hr)
Blazerworks is excited to partner with the Santa Maria School District to hire a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical School Social Worker for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students' mental, emotional, and social well-being, while collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for at-risk students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to improve students' academic and social success.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community services to ensure comprehensive support.
- Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
