Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, or part-time, role in school districts located in the Mt Prospect, IL area.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students.
- Document progress and adjust therapy as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support students communication development.
- Attend IEP meetings to provide professional insights and monitor progress.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in speech-language pathology from the Illinois State Board of Education.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- School-based experience preferred.
