Job Summary:
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Frederick, Maryland. This part-time position involves working with a K-12 caseload, providing support to students, families, and staff to foster a positive and productive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
- Facilitate professional development and training for school staff on mental health topics.
- Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid School Psychologist license in Maryland.
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
