Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position within school districts in the Birmingham, AL area. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each students needs.
- Implement speech therapy interventions and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student development.
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents regarding speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with local and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Alabama State SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must meet all local and state requirements for practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting.
