What Youll Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, including articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Educate and support teachers and families in implementing strategies to enhance students communication skills.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not required.
- Additional endorsements or certifications in specific areas of special education (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities) is a plus.
- Must pass a standardbackground check, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
