Blazer Jobs seeks a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based team in Clovis, New Mexico. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to positively impact students educational and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services per IEP guidelines to support students' physical and social development.
- Carry out occupational therapy activities in collaboration with the supervising therapist.
- Record progress notes and participate in team discussions to adapt strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to ensure alignment of therapy goals with educational objectives.
Requirements:
- Certification: New Mexico COTA certification.
- License: Valid New Mexico COTA license.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a COTA in a school or pediatric setting.
- Education: Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance or equivalent from an accredited institution.
