Blazerworks is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a School Occupational Therapist (OT) in collaboration with our partner school district in Wilmington, DE, for the 2024-2025 school year. Were looking for a dedicated professional passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally through targeted occupational therapy interventions.
Position Details:
- Location: Wilmington, DE
- Position: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Type: Full-Time, 2024-2025 School Year
- Grade Levels: K-12, with caseload specifics provided upon assignment
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs in coordination with IEP teams
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in and out of the classroom
- Document and monitor progress, adjusting treatment goals as necessary
- Engage in school-based meetings and provide resources for teachers and families

Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active DE OT license required
- Experience: Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is preferred but not required
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills to meet diverse student needs
- Professionalism: Ability to work effectively within IEP teams, manage caseloads, and contribute positively to the school community
