Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Manville, NJ area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting the mental health and educational success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and support plans.
- Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students facing various challenges.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Facilitate training and workshops for staff and parents on mental health awareness and support strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of interventions and services.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of New Jersey.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to student support.
