Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our partner school district in the Mineral Wells, TXarea. Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing speech and language programs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Supporting students with communication disorders through targeted activities and interventions.
- Collecting and maintaining data on student performance and progress.
- Preparing materials and setting up equipment for therapy sessions.
- Assisting with administrative duties related to speech services, such as scheduling and documentation.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student goals.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid state SLPA license.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of special education regulations and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) is a plus.
