Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to work with students in Granite Falls, Washington. Blazer Jobs collaborates with local schools to provide specialized support, and we are looking for a professional who is committed to helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy sessions in coordination with licensed SLPs, addressing students' speech and language challenges
- Record and monitor progress toward communication objectives, reporting updates to the supervising SLP
- Encourage effective communication strategies in students through engaging exercises and activities
- Collaborate with classroom staff to incorporate speech and language strategies within general education settings
- Participate in team meetings to align on treatment goals and individualized approaches
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field
- Active Washington SLPA license
- A minimum of one year of field experience, ideally within a school setting
- Team-oriented with a passion for supporting diverse student needs
