Speech-Language Pathologist - Full/Part-Time
Location:Aurora, Colorado
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full/part-time position with school districts inAurora, Colorado. We are actively interviewing candidates who are passionate about supporting students' communication and language development. Open to virtual to fulfill SLPA supervision position at 15 hours/week as well!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective speech and language interventions.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students requiring speech and language services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication disorders and intervention strategies.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations related to speech-language services in schools.
