Description: Are you a dedicated School Social Worker passionate about supporting students' emotional and social well-being? We are seeking full-time School Social Workers for the 2024-2025 school year in Maywood, IL. With three elementary positions available, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple schools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social work services to students, including individual and group counseling.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
- Develop and implement interventions to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in School Social Work.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different schools.
