We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our network in a fully remote capacity, serving a K-12 district in Hingham, MA.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the mental health and well-being of our students. You will serve as a team chair and conduct evaluations, collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess student needs, develop intervention plans, and provide support to ensure that all students can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
- Serve as team chair for IEP meetings and facilitate discussions with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies for student success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Provide training and resources for staff and families on mental health topics.
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and related fields.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
- Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Openness to serving as both team chair and evaluator.
