Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Special Educationteam to provide teletherapy services to ourour studentsfor the full school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services via teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' IEP goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
- Stay current with best practices and new technologies in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.
Position Details:
- Current School Year
- Part-Time: approximately 2.5 days per week
- Caseload: K - 12th grade, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Range: $30 - $55 per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington SLP license & valid SLP license in state of residency (if applicable)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous experience providing teletherapy services is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Comfortable working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
