Are you an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist looking for a fulfilling opportunity in the education sector? We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2024 school year. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and independence of our diverse student population.
Hours per Week: 37.5 (Full- Time)
Age of Students: PreK 8th grade
Supervise COTA
Requirements:
- Active California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based Occupational Therapy practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' individual needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations for students
