Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
We are looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based role in Chester, Pennsylvania. This position focuses on supporting students with special education needs, helping them develop skills that enhance their learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and create individualized intervention plans
- Provide targeted therapy sessions to improve motor skills and adaptive behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
- Track and document progress, updating treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
- NBCOT certification
- At least one year of experience in school-based therapy
